THE WAYS TO IPROVE YOUR SKILLS

Don’t discount the importance of interpersonal skills in the workplace. How you are perceived by your manager and coworkers plays a large role in things as minor as your day-to-day happiness at the office and as major as the future of your career.

No matter how hard you work or how many brilliant ideas you may have, if you can’t connect with the people who work around you, your professional life will suffer. The good news is that there are several concrete things that you can do to improve your social skills and become closer to your colleagues. All of these tools will ultimately help you succeed in today’s working world.

1- Smile. Few people want to be around someone who is always down in the dumps. Do your best to be friendly and upbeat with your coworkers. Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude about work and about life. Smile often. The positive energy you radiate will draw others to you.

2- Be appreciative. Find one positive thing about everyone you work with and let them hear it. Be generous with praise and kind words of encouragement. Say thank you when someone helps you. Make colleagues feel welcome when they call or stop by your office. If you let others know that they are appreciated, they’ll want to give you their best.

3- Pay attention to others. Observe what’s going on in other people’s lives. Acknowledge their happy milestones, and express concern and sympathy for difficult situations such as an illness or death. Make eye contact and address people by their first names. Ask others for their opinions.

4- Practice active listening. To actively listen is to demonstrate that you intend to hear and understand another’s point of view. It means restating, in your own words, what the other person has said. In this way, you know that you understood their meaning and they know that your responses are more than lip service. Your coworkers will appreciate knowing that you really do listen to what they have to say.

5- Bring people together. Create an environment that encourages others to work together. Treat everyone equally, and don't play favorites. Avoid talking about others behind their backs. Follow up on other people's suggestions or requests. When you make a statement or announcement, check to see that you have been understood. If folks see you as someone solid and fair, they will grow to trust you.

6- Resolve conflicts. Take a step beyond simply bringing people together, and become someone who resolves conflicts when they arise. Learn how to be an effective mediator. If coworkers bicker over personal or professional disagreements, arrange to sit down with both parties and help sort out their differences. By taking on such a leadership role, you will garner respect and admiration from those around you.

7- Communicate clearly. Pay close attention to both what you say and how you say it. A clear and effective communicator avoids misunderstandings with coworkers, collegues, and associates. Verbal eloquence projects an image of intelligence and maturity, no matter what your age. If you tend to blurt out anything that comes to mind, people won’t put much weight on your words or opinions.

8- Humor them. Don’t be afraid to be funny or clever. Most people are drawn to a person that can make them laugh. Use your sense of humor as an effective tool to lower barriers and gain people’s affection.

9- See it from their side. Empathy means being able to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and understand how they feel. Try to view situations and responses from another person’s perspective. This can be accomplished through staying in touch with your own emotions; those who are cut off from their own feelings are often unable to empathize with others.

10- Don't complain. There is nothing worse than a chronic complainer or whiner. If you simply have to vent about something, save it for your diary. If you must verbalize your grievances, vent to your personal friends and family, and keep it short. Spare those around you, or else you’ll get a bad reputation.

WILL THERE BE AN "END OF THE WORLD" ?

Seven Signs of the End," or is such an idea simply the opinion of kooks who stand on street corners waving signs reading, "The End Is Near"? Believe it or not, according to the Bible, yes, there will be an end. Jesus Christ promised His followers, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world" (Matthew 28:20).

Are there any legitimate and observable "signs" indicative of this approaching finale? Once again, the answer is yes. While many supposed "signs" appear daily on the covers of our nation's tabloids, here are seven true biblical signs worth listing:

1- Global Environmental Crisis: The Bible reveals that when God finally drops the curtain on human history, He will finally "destroy them that destroy the earth" (Revelation 11:18). In other words, before the end, mankind will be destroying the very planet we live on. This implies a global environmental crisis resulting from the growth of mega-cities, deforestation, a disappearing ozone layer, and earth-damaging man made pollutants.

2- Out-of-control Violence: Jesus Christ said, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be before the coming of the Son of Man" (Matthew 24:37). What was it like in Noah's day before the flood? Here's the answer: "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence" (Genesis 6:11). "And God said to Noah, the end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth" (Genesis 6:13). Thus "violence" was rampant in Noah's day, just like today.

3- Out-of-control Sex: Again, Jesus Christ said, "Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot…Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed" (Luke 17:28, 30). What was it like in Lot's day before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah? Here's the answer: "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire" (Jude 7). Thus "fornication" (sex outside of marriage), and "going after strange flesh" (homosexuality), were the primary sins of those ancient cities. It's a no-brainer that through television, Playboy, Internet pornography, etc., our world is experiencing an unprecedented deluge of sexual perversion.

4- Increasing Stress, Confusion, Heart Disease: Jesus also declared, "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things that are coming upon the earth" (Luke 21:25, 26). People are stressed-out everywhere, confusion reigns, and the Number 1 cause of death is heart disease. Jesus Christ saw it coming, that's why He predicted global "distress," "perplexity" and "men's hearts failing them for fear." Fear also raises blood cholesterol.

5- Increasing Knowledge: The prophetic book of Daniel declares, "But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4). This passage reveals planet Earth will enter its "time of the end." Then, "knowledge shall be increased." In our modern era - more than any time in recorded history - knowledge has increased beyond previous generations.

6- False Teaching and Global Religious Confusion: Paul predicted "the time will come" when the majority "shall turn their ears away from the truth and shall turn to fables" (2 Timothy 4:4). God's final book - the Revelation - predicts the rise of a global, multi-layered, conglomerate religious system called "Babylon," which literally means, "confusion." Heaven's end-time message proclaims, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication" (Revelation 14:8). This mysterious, highly symbolic prophecy reveals that "all nations" will become drunk with "Babylon's wine" - meaning the worldwide false teachings of deceptive religions which lead away from the simplicity of the pure gospel of Jesus Christ.
7- The Global Preaching of the Gospel: "And this gospel [the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ] shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then shall the end come" (Matthew 24:14). With the aid of radio, television and satellite networks, God's message of salvation through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross is now spreading around planet Earth. Thus, in the midst of Bad News, there's Good News! We have a Savior who loves us, gave His life for us, rose from the dead for us, and will someday return to take us home.

YOUR DREAM OF STARTING AND MANAGING A BUISNESS

Starting and managing a business takes motivation, desire, talent, research and planning. The purpose of any business that’s operated by a Christian should be to glorify God, not just to make a profit.

If you’re more concerned with pursuing riches than serving God, you cease to be useful to God. "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth"(Matthew 6:24).

Like a chess game, success in small business requires decisive and correct moves, so develop a plan.

Get started by listing your reasons for wanting to go into business.

Determine the type of business that is right for you, based on your talents, skills, time availability, and interests.

Identify the niche your business would fill.

Develop a pre-business checklist to answer questions about location, finances, insurance, equipment and supply needs, and legal structure.

Establish a budget, even if your idea is several years in the future. Be cautious about borrowing to start any new venture.

Never borrow against your home or retirement account. Don’t deplete savings accounts, or cash in IRAs or cash savings bonds to fund new ventures. Debt makes it difficult for a new business to break even. If God wants you to develop this idea, He will provide a way to finance it without having to jeopardize your future.
Existing business
If you are interested in purchasing an existing business, it’s best to have a lot of experience in that business. Carefully examine the records and books. This is very important and would be worth the money an accountant may charge for this service.

Determining the value of a business is very difficult and what a business is actually worth seldom brings that price. In addition to property value (get three fair market appraisals) and the cost of inventory, the business worth should be about four times its net yearly earnings. After deducting your salary, a business should be able to pay itself off in 5 to 7 years. If it can’t, it’s probably overpriced and not a good buy.

Home based business
Before becoming involved with any home-based venture:

Get the names of the principals of the business opportunity and the home office of the company.

Contact the Better Business Bureau in the state where they are located and the attorney general or the state securities office of that state. Ask if any complaints have been filed against the company before you make any decision to become a part of that company.

God knows your needs and the desires of your heart. Trust Him to show you the business that will fit your talents and needs and will honor His name.
Starting your own business can be very challenging and rewarding. If you are successful it gives you a chance to take control of your future, achieve a great sense of personal satisfaction, and reap financial rewards.

But remember, in order to be successful in the eyes of the Lord, the business must be established for the purpose of glorifying and honoring Him.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
Related to country: France

Translations available in: English (original) | French

I am dedicating this to all the women in the world, married, unmarried , divorce, widows, mothers and daughters.
In Europe, Africa, and South America, women have just taken top posts. But the bigger picture is not so rosy for women, which is surprising, because studies show that when women hold power the quality of governance rises, corruption sinks, and citizens are better represented.
That is the of value of women in leadership, they also attends to the needs of thier families, friends, communities and countries. They have their characteristics in leadership and when they have the opportunity they use it and create chances for other women and the reward of being a woman in leadership is thier dignityas a woman.
Today as we know In every successful country there are always women in the government to guide and support the the less privilege through even though they have prblem or not. They have the powers to change their world and always Virtuous. Women in leadership does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, sex, sexual preference, national origin or handicap.

1. women had thier needs, and that gave thier passions. I’ve always said that the seed of a miracle is a need, and that was definitely true in women cases. Remember the last time you wanted to accomplish something great, and you wanted to do it quickly? Your desire was accompanied by a tremendous sense of urgency, wasn’t it? The need inspires the passion.

2. women had thier ideas, and they gave thier potentials. The most important thing in life is a good idea. It’s more important than time; it’s more important than money. When it comes to potential for growth, you’re only as big as the idea that you possess right now. They already knew what they wanted to accomplish, and that gave thier potential.

3. Women who made thier commitments, and gave thier personal success. women are willing to put thier lives savings on the lines in order to achieve thier personal success. It is a fact of life that you can only go as far as your commitment lets you go. When your commitment level is low, you don’t accomplish very much. But when your commitment level is high, you can achieve a great deal.

4. women knew how to lead. If you don’t remember anything else about women, remember this: thier abilities to lead compounded thier success. With hard work, initiative, discipline and the right skills, everyone has the potential to be a personal success. But only leaders have the potential to compound success. Let me explain what I mean. You don’t compound success by doing what you can do. You compound success by bringing others to your vision and accomplishing that vision through them.

UNFORGIVENESSS AND FORGIVENESS
Related to country: France

Translations available in: English (original) | French

I am dedicating it to a friend, because of her past on child abuse with her father and she finds it hard to forgive her father and others too out-there who finds hard to forgive the ones who hurt them. Many people ruin their health and their lives by taking the poison of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. Matthew 18:23-35 tells us that if we do not forgive people, we get turned over to the torturers. If you have a problem in this area or have ever had one, I’m sure you bear witness with what I’m saying. It’s torture to have hateful thoughts toward another person rolling around inside your head.

Ways of Helping Yourself and Others

Who are you helping most when you forgive the person who hurt you? Actually, you’re helping yourself more than the other person. I always looked at forgiving people who hurt me as being really hard. I thought it seemed so unfair for them to receive forgiveness when I had gotten hurt. I got pain, and they got freedom without having to pay for the pain they caused. Now I realize that I’m helping myself when I choose to forgive.

I’m also helping the other person by releasing them so God can do what only He can do. If I’m in the way—trying to get revenge or take care of the situation myself instead of trusting and obeying God—He has no obligation to deal with that person. However, God will deal with those who hurt us if we’ll put them in His hands through forgiveness. The act of forgiving is our seed of obedience to His Word. Once we’ve sown our seed, He is faithful to bring a harvest of blessing to us one way or another.

Another way that forgiveness helps me is that it releases God to do His work in me. I’m happier and feel better physically when I’m not filled with the poison of unforgiveness. Serious diseases can develop as a result of the stress and pressure that difficult to accept, ill feeling
and unforgiveness put on a person. Mark 11:22-26 clearly teaches us that unforgiveness hinders our faith from working. The Father can’t forgive our sins if we don’t forgive other people. We reap what we sow. Sow mercy, and you’ll reap mercy; sow judgment, and you’ll reap judgment. So do yourself a favor and forgive.

There are still more benefits of forgiveness. Your fellowship with God flows freely when you’re willing to forgive, but it gets blocked by unforgiveness. Forgiveness also keeps Satan from getting an advantage over us (see 2 Corinthians 2:10,11). Ephesians 4:26,27 tells us not to let the sun go down on our anger or give the devil any such foothold or opportunity. Remember that the devil must have a foothold before he can get a stronghold. Do not help Satan torture you. Be quick to forgive.

I also think it’s hard to hate one person but love another. It’s hard to treat anybody right when our heart isn’t right. Even people you want to love may be suffering from your resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness.

Three ways on How to Forgive

Would you like to become more successful at forgiving others? There are practical steps that must be taken. One time I asked the Lord why so many people want to forgive but aren’t successful doing it. And He said, "Because they aren’t obeying what I tell them to do in My Word." As I searched the Word, I found the following instructions:

1. chooose– You will never forgive if you wait until you feel like it. Decide to obey God and steadfastly resist the devil in his attempts to poison you with bitter thoughts. Make a quality decision to forgive, and God will heal your wounded emotions in due time (see Matthew 6:12,14).

2. Be contingent– You cannot forgive without the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s too hard to do on your own. If you are truly willing, God will enable you, but you must humble yourself and cry out to Him for help. In John 20:22,23 Jesus breathed on the disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit!” His next instruction was about forgiving people. Ask God to breathe the Holy Spirit on you so you can forgive those who’ve hurt you.

3. Be controlled– The Word tells us several things we’re to do concerning forgiving our enemies:

a. Pray for your enemies and those who abuse and misuse you. Pray for their happiness and welfare (see Luke 6:27,28). As you pray, God can give them revelation that will bring them out of deception. They may not even be aware they hurt you, or maybe they’re aware but are so self-centered that they don’t care. Either way, they need revelation.

b. …Bless and do not curse them (Romans 12:14). In the Greek to bless means "to speak well of" and to curse means "to speak evil of." You can’t walk in forgiveness and be a gossip. You must stop repeating the offense. You can’t get over it if you continue to talk about it. Proverbs 17:9 says that he who covers an offense seeks love.

Between You Two Who Should Forgive?

Forgive the person who badly hurt you long ago and also the stranger who stepped on your toe in the grocery store. Take those two extremes and forgive them in addition to everyone in between. Forgive quickly. The quicker you do it, the easier it is. Forgive freely. Matthew 10:8 says, …Freely you have received, freely give (NKJV). Forgive means “to excuse a fault, absolve from payment, pardon, send away, cancel, and bestow favor unconditionally.”

When you forgive, you must cancel the debt. Do not spend your life paying and collecting debts. Hebrews 10:30 says that vengeance belongs to the Lord; He’ll repay and settle the cases of His people. Let God pay you for past injustices. Do not try to collect from the people who hurt you, because the people who hurt you can’t pay you.

Also, forgive yourself for past sins and hurts you have caused others. You can’t pay people back, so ask God to.

Forgive God if you are angry with Him because your life didn’t turn out the way you thought it should. God is always just. There may be things you don’t understand, but God loves you, and people make a serious mistake when they don’t receive help from the only One who can truly help them.

You may even need to forgive a situation or an object—the post office, bank, a certain store that may have cheated you, a car that always gave you trouble, etc. Get rid of all poison that comes from difficult to accept, annoyed
and unwilling to forgive. And remember Proverbs 4:23: Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance...for out of it flow the springs of life.

Unforgiveness is spiritual filthiness, so get washed in the water of God’s Word to forgive and stay clean.

THE COST AND THE KIND OF WATER
Translations available in: French (original) | Arabic

As a human you probably never thought about where you were getting your water from. Chances are you drank water out of the garden hose on hot days, from the drinking fountain at school, and right from the bathroom faucet at home.

I wish it were true that all water was safe wherever it came from, and that our bodies would naturally filter out the “bad stuff.” But unfortunately, that is not the way it works. When we drink water containing harmful substances, they end up in our bodies and can damage our health.

Just a few decades ago, a fifty-foot well yielded pure water free of contaminants, chemicals and other toxic substances. But today, even wells 200 feet deep may not provide pure water! Water straight from the tap may contain toxins, heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria and other microbes. And in most cities, two chemicals that are also toxic to our bodies are actually added to the water supply: fluoride ‘ to help prevent tooth decay’ and aluminum ‘to help remove organic material from drinking water’.

Since drinking enough of the right kind of water is vital for maintaining good health, it is important to find an alternative to tap water. Two easily accessible options are bottled and filtered water. Here are some guidelines for choosing from the many options available.

DO YOU KNOW IF BOTTLED WATER IS BETTER?

According to the Beverage Marketing Corporation, growth in the bottled water industry is “unparalleled.” In fact, it is now the second most popular beverage in the United States behind soft drinks! But the question is: Is it really any better than water from the faucet? The answer is, not necessarily.

Bottled water is actually less regulated than tap water and can be just as toxic. The only requirement placed on bottled water in the western world like the U.S is that it be as safe as tap water. The truth is, according to government and industry estimates, about one fourth of bottled water is tap water! As long as producers meet the FDA’s standards for distilled or purified water, they do not even have to disclose their source.

The other problem with bottled water is that the plastic it’s stored in tends to leach into the water over time. Plasticizers are the main pollutant in the human body. If you drink from plastic bottles, store them in the refrigerator and do not reuse the bottle. Heat tends to release the plasticizers from the plastic bottle. You can also purchase bottled water in glass bottles.

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WATER FILTERS ?

Another option for getting good drinking water is to treat your water with some type of water filter. Among the options are filtration pitchers, faucet-mounted carbon filters, full-home filtration systems, reverse-osmosis under-the-counter systems, and distillation. These may sound mysterious and expensive, but a good water filter probably costs less than many people currently spend monthly on soft drinks.

1- Carbon Filters
Carbon filters are the entry-level filters; they’re inexpensive, reliable and common. They come in a pitcher form, can be mounted on your faucet, or attached near the main water source of your home to filter all your water. They remove most chlorine and 90 percent of the lead. However, many other toxins are not filtered out. It’s an inexpensive but incomplete option.

2- Water Distillers
Water distillers are extremely effective at removing everything. Unfortunately, they even remove good minerals. Distilled water is absorbent water, meaning it absorbs carbon dioxide from your body, making it acidic. Although you won’t have anything bad in your water, distilled water can adversely affect your health by contributing to an acidic internal environment.

3- Osmosis-Reverse Filters
In terms of price, reverse-osmosis systems are the “optimum level” of water filters. However, like distillers, they remove virtually everything from your water and end up making it acidic, which in turn may make your body tissue acidic. Nevertheless, both distilled and reverse-osmosis are the purest forms of water. If you use these filters, make sure you take adequate minerals and consider adding an alkaline booster to your water.

4- Alkaline Water Filters
You can create alkaline water by using an alkalizing filter. Alkalizing filters are particularly beneficial because our bodies thrive in an alkaline environment. This environment allows our bodies to detoxify more efficiently than an acidic environment. Most Americans have an acidic body environment due to drinking acidic water, eating acidic foods and being under a lot of stress. As a result, toxins, which cause various health issues, may build up in our bodies. Drinking alkaline water can help bring your tissue back to an alkaline state.

Some alkalizing filters also make water clustered, or “hexagonal,” meaning that at a molecular level it is denser, richer and more energetic. Clustered water moves more easily within the body and aids nutrient absorption and waste removal.

I encourage you to research the benefits of each filter for yourself. Keep in mind that even the least efficient and inexpensive type of filter is better than no filter at all. Remember, we are water beings; approximately 2/3 of our body is water. Prayerfully decide what alternative source of pure water is best for you and start drinking it on a regular basis.
